These are all reasonable questions! But they’re based on a false idea that you become someone different when you are in hypnosis. When you are hypnotised, you are still you, with the same:
You’re also not going to go to sleep, or, if in the rare case that you do, we’ll gently wake you up because we want you present and engaged.
Hypnosis is a process of collaboration, and is probably a little less passive than you might expect. This will be explained to you, and you can ask questions in your session. It’s important that you understand the process and feel comfortable with it all, and that’s our job to facilitate. What happens in a hypnosis session will very much depend upon you, and what you need.
