Does it sometimes feel like you have a sugar addiction?
Lollies, biscuits and soft drinks. Bread, pasta, cakes. Chips. Donuts, cronuts, muffins, pastries, burgers.
Toast. Toast!
All delicious. All generally pretty high in sugar, or carbohydrates. Mostly fine in moderation. All common things people see a hypnotherapist to quit.
What is it for you?
All carbohydrates are not created equal, and we need the right carbohydrates in order for our body to function well. But sometimes we get an imbalance in our diet, in the macronutrients – the food groups – our body craves. Like carbs – sometimes we crave carbohydrates to make us feel better. Sometimes people call this craving a sugar addiction, because it feels like they don’t have a choice about eating certain things.
But you do have a choice, and you can change the sorts of things your body craves, and your relationship to certain foods. You can change how you eat, and what you eat. And in most cases this change begins in the processes of your mind, moves on to how your mind influences your brain function, and then on through the messages your brain sends to your nervous system, your metabolic system, your endocrine (hormone) system.
Using hypnosis for sugar addictions and creating changes to sugar cravings is something we can help you with. We’d love to show you how you can use hypnotherapy for sugar addiction, have this control over your own body and influence your own biological processes.
